Moody, mysterious & experimental. Synth-pop visionary legend, Mariana A Saldaña is MS. BOAN . Formally of Medio Mutante, //TENSE//. Saldaña invites you into big, wide, cinemascapes, swirling ephemeral beats with deeply human lyrics. Honed for years while mixing up stormy emotions of coldwave, the ecstatic energy of EBM, and influences absorbed through her Mexican-American heritage. Serving up intense dance-pop, Ms.BOAN performs with a dramatic, emotional spirit.
SRSQ is the solo musical project of American singer and keyboardist Kennedy Ashlyn. Ashlyn started making music under the name Them Are Us Too in high school, later expanding the group to a duo after meeting Cash Askew in college. After releasing one album together, Askew died in the Ghost Ship warehouse fire in 2016. Ashlyn retired their shared name and started working as SRSQ the following year. Under the name, Ashlyn has released two albums, Unreality (2018) and Ever Crashing (2022). SRSQ's dream pop -centric sound has drawn comparisons to bands such as Cocteau Twins

Deathrage Records presents NOPE: New Orleans Proletarian Electronica. Call it a gathering, a party, a show, a happening, a situation, a freakfest, or whatever the fuck you want. Call it a carved out space that rejects algorithmic determinism and the commodification of human connection. Call it a line of flight towards communal luxury. Call it a few hours of freedom. NOPE is where class consciousness meets celebration and performance meets participation. NOPE is not Netflix and NOPE is not chill—we’re sick and tired of chill. We’re bored of entertainment that pacifies and acts as emotional wallpaper. NOPE is not, and never will be, a Spotify playlist. NOPE is a giant middle finger to the algorithmic flattening of culture. NOPE is not a vibe. NOPE is about building community while platforming some of the coolest and freakiest underground music our city has to offer. NOPE is where we find each other.
